Foster City, California based Consumer Electronics Company.

The Challenge
The eminent challenge was to improve departmental efficiencies by automating paper based operations. In addition, the company wanted to offer an office system-wide collaboration platform to automate paper-based processes, enhance project management, content management and information management activities.

The Solution
Encodex proposed designing a company wide intranet portal with separate sub-site for each department, groups and regional offices. The new intranet offered two separate navigation controls, such as "top tabbed navigation" to navigate across groups and regional offices and "left navigation" on each page to navigate across various departments of each group and regional offices. Encodex also proposed several custom web parts specific to the departments.
